Making Kettlebells Count in Equilibrium Training

By Rob Sutter

"Equilibrium" stands as a movie where one man has a revelation and works against everything that he had worked so hard to support. Due to this, he had to to fight against the forces which wanted to regulate the lives of others, not permitting them to feel emotions. This man's ability to utilize blades in addition to guns is second to none and it shows throughout the movie itself. In order for him to be an even more effective fighter, kettlebells could most certainly be put into application here.

The idea of versatility is something that the main character of the film, John Preston, has taken to heart when training as a Grammaton Cleric in Libria. When I think of such usability, my mind instantly goes to kettlebells. When a person uses these to work out, it's clear that there are many areas of the body that can be worked out, not just the arms. Companies along the lines of Lorna are the ones which will be able to show you just how much success can come thanks to these rather unique weights.

The reason that Preston went against the orders of those he worked with in the past was due to the absence of a drug. All of Libria's citizens had to inject themselves with a toxin that would cause them to not feel emotion. Everyone in the civilization is devoid of feeling, until Preston accidentally forgot to take his own dosage. Realizing the impact of emotion, Preston decided to start an underdog revolution to take on those who have created an environment that only George Orwell could have thought up.

When talking about Preston's competency to scrap, he has quite a few ways he can go about it. Not only is he able to avoid bullets rather quickly but he can take up different weapons in order to take the fight to the opposition. He has been proven to crafty with a blade especially, his fast-paced actions able to bring down people at speeds which one would have only dreamed of otherwise. Along with being someone who was once in a spot of power, he's a fighter who is, to put it lightly, deadly.

As good as Preston can be with a selection of weapons, I still think that it'd be prudent to utilize kettlebells. As someone who's been in contention with specialists, it's clear that they are going to throw everything - even including the kitchen sink - in his direction. Even though he's clearly strong in his own way, a little bit of assistance can help every facet of his being. The workouts where these weights are used greatly are the ones that will truly make Preston become unstoppable when fighting for freedom.
